Blocks
The Jura Grey limestone is extracted by few quarries with small to medium dimension. The extraction is done on several layers (up to 30 layers), where each layer present quite limited height. Therefore, blocks extracted normally do not have considerable height.
There are large reserves of this limestone for future extraction.
Slabs and Tiles
These are the most common forms in which the Jura Grey limestone can be found in the market, as slabs, but in most cases as tiles and cut-to-size. There is a certain market for slabs, but it is not considerable. However, the tiles and cut-to-size market is considerable and demand for these finished products is quite high.
Projects
The Jura Grey is an extremely versatile limestone, being recommended for a large diversity of applications. Due to its hardness as a limestone, it can be used in exterior applications such as garden decoration. In addition, it is commonly used on interior applications such as flooring, coverings and bath design. It is also a preferential limestone to be used in cladding projects.
